Who we are

NRD Calculators is operated by NRD Business Support Services Ltd (company number 16277119), a limited company registered in England and Wales with registered office at 169 High Street, Barnet, Hertfordshire, EN5 5SU. References to "we", "our" and "us" in these Terms mean that company.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of NRD Calculators (the "Service"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

NRD Calculators provides UK tax calculators, reporting tools and PDF exports for accountants and bookkeepers. The Service is provided as software-as-a-service via your web browser.

2. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or your firm.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
  • One subscription = the user limit shown on your plan. Sharing a single login between multiple people is not permitted.

3. Subscriptions and billing

  • Plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe.
  • Prices are shown in GBP and exclude VAT unless stated.
  • You can cancel anytime from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are issued at our discretion and only for verifiable Service failures.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service.
  • Use the Service to violate any law or third-party rights.
  • Resell, sublicense or white-label the Service without our written permission.

5. Calculations and professional advice

NRD Calculators is a tool to assist qualified professionals. Calculations are based on published HMRC rates and our best understanding of UK tax law at the time the tool was updated. We do not provide tax advice. You are responsible for reviewing all outputs before relying on them or sharing them with clients.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, its source code, design, and content (excluding your own data and uploads) are owned by NRD Calculators. You retain all rights to the data you input and the PDFs you generate.

7. Data and privacy

Our processing of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform planned maintenance with reasonable notice.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or fail to pay. You can close your account at any time from Settings → Account; outstanding fees remain payable.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or HMRC penalties resulting from reliance on calculator outputs.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-product notice at least 14 days in advance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
